Think of me as a life coach, academic success coach, college advisor, and parent coach all rolled into one. As an educator with decades of experience in schools and partnering with professionals and families to engage in advocacy for students, I possess many skills. My highly personalized approach to coaching means that your adolescent or young adult will have a mentor, cheerleader, advisor, confidant, and friend. I will have each client's best interests in mind.
I want to build a trusting and collaborative partnership with my clients that assure them I am on their team and I am here to help achieve their goals. I offer a space for them to be themselves and grow without judgment, but that is not to say I am not afraid to gently push them out of their comfort zone when they need that extra step.
Tracking developmental progress and personal growth takes time to measure, but I am confident you will start to see a positive change once we begin our work together.
DBG consulting and coaching focuses on almost post-secondary children and young adults ages 14-25. My plan consists of supporting and designing a unique program for each individual's journey to improve their academic and functional achievement to reach and continue successfully in their post-secondary goals.

I also do not want your child to feel obligated to spend time with me. Coaching should be enjoyable and productive for everyone involved.
Initially, I would schedule a call or zoom with the parents or guardian to learn about their adolescent or young adult's specific needs. If moving forward is agreed upon, the next step is for me to set up a call or zoom with the individual.
